A short video drama, made by young people, about a teenager becoming addicted to beefburgers, used as a metaphor for drug addiction. After his vegetarian parents evict him from home, he resorts to stealing burgers in the street from people, leading him to a spell in jail. We see him go “cold burger” in his cell but, upon release, he is given his own burger franchise from his ‘dealer’ and becomes increasingly addicted. After being threatened by his dealer and reaching his lowest point yet, he decides to change his life and becomes reformed to speak for the ‘Beat The Burger’ campaign. This video recording lasts 7 minutes and 15 seconds. |
