Partytown

This internet site is a streaming network, providing a variety of streams for users to listen to. The site is aimed at users interested in alternative news, media and music, promoting freedom of speech and also offers access for users to submit their own mp3 files for broadcast on these internet streams.

The site offers a variety of different streams to listen to: independent world news, indie music, pagan earth spirituality programming and others. Real Player and WinAmp are the two main formats supported by the site, although other similar mp3 players may also work.

There are lots of links to sites of a variety of independent media centres who have contributed programmes, a chat room, guest book, message board and other similar pages. Other links are to pages with technical information, particularly relating to formatting material to submit to the site.

Some of the material streaming on the site, by its own admission, will “not be suitable for children or some adults”.
