An filmed edition of Channel 6 Broadcasting’s ‘Art in Scotland’ looking at a computer arts course at Abertay University and support for a local musician who invented a device of use to guitar players.
The programme features the end of year exhibition from students on the local BA in Computer Arts course. Programme Tutor Inga Patterson describes the project-based nature of the course and how that is displayed in the exhibition.
The programme then looks at how Dundee by Design supported local musician John Brady when he devised a specialist tool to remove guitar string pins. The invention has now gone into production for worldwide distribution. This video recording lasts 7 minutes and 25 seconds.
