An edition of the Big Sky television series following a group of warmly dressed walkers as they set off across the icy fields of the Lake District.

With the cold winter sun low in the sky we follow them across sheep-covered rock-strewn hills until, taking a break for sandwiches and hot drinks, they look back down into a desolate valley resembling a lunar landscape

Soon rising above the snow line, they continue their climb across frozen hills, apparently miles from civilisation or other walkers.

The remote, desolate scene is somewhat spoilt by the annoyingly repetitive, somewhat menacing, background music used throughout this series. This video recording lasts 6 minutes and 1 second.
