Art in Scotland - Snowdon

A short edition of Channel 6 Broadcasting’s TV show ‘Art in Scotland’, featuring the Earl of Snowdon and his exhibition at the City Art Gallery.

Snowdon, filmed in the gallery, talks briefly about his choice of subjects, setting out the exhibition and the teaching of visual arts. He hopes the show is not really ‘photographic’, saying that the photographs are very simple and light-hearted, but ultimately thought provoking.

The programme is illustrated with shots of some of his characteristically superb photographs. This video recording lasts 2 minutes and 33 seconds.
