Big Sky - Abbey St. Bathans

One of a series of Big Sky TV programmes featuring country walks in winter, this edition is introduced as a walk with a difference in a hidden valley in Berwickshire, to Edins Hall Broch and beyond, which starts in the riverside car park of the Riverside pub and takes about forty minutes.

An unidentified woman, who appears to be from the Riverside, describes it as a very pretty walk, known by people from all over the world, which she used to take with all her kids, who have grown up knowing it very well.

In a series of beautifully shot images we see another woman in appropriate walking gear setting off across the frozen winter countryside with Channel 6 Television’s Dave Rushton as the route is described in detail by our guide. This video recording lasts 9 minutes and 29 seconds.
