Annihilation

Annihilation is a video piece looking at skateboarding culture through the eyes of young men in Betws, South Wales, made by Ryan James (aged 12). The piece shows how the allure of skateboarding has surpassed football in the eyes of many young men, and details their aspirations of being good enough to leave their estate homes in Wales and seek new lives in the USA as skateboarding professionals. This video lasts for 9 minutes and 57 seconds.
