| This website offers online training and resources. Training packages range from basic computer, internet and email courses to advanced technical skills. Initialy this website was aimed at civil society organisations and other development agencies in developing countries in order to confront the challenges posed by new information and communication technologies (ICTs). However, this website is also appropriate for individuals and communities from Industrialised countries. As well as being available in English, French and Spanish the site also has elements in Albanian, Bosnian, Czech, Portuguese and Serbian. There are additional elements specifically geared towards women and gender related training resources. Most resources are downloadable text based documents, linked to from this site or related external resources, some of which may have copyright issues outside the remit of The Showcase. |
