Art in Scotland Degree Show 2002 - Duncan of Jordanstone (2 of 2)
Four final year students at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art talk about their work in an edition of the television series Art in Scotland, recorded at the College’s 2002 Degree Show.
We see examples of the work of a student who has just completed the ceramics course and uses traditional coiling techniques to make large-scale pots and a textile student who has taken her drawings of the Scottish coastal environment and applied the textures to her textile designs. We also see work by a graphic designer with ideas for marketing a bio-degradable mobile ‘phone and a final year jewellery and metalwork student who has been designing metal automatons inspired by her family. This video recording lasts 12 minutes and 12 seconds.
