Talking Pictures - Jean-Pierre Jeunet

In a short edition of Channel 6 Television’s programme Talking Pictures, recorded at Edinburgh Film Festival, Director and Screenwriter Jean-Pierre Jeunet talks about his film Amelie.

Attempting to explain the international appeal of the film he says it is a positive film about generosity, a romantic love story about the small things in life.

The interview is shot using two cameras – one in black and white – and is illustrated with a number of very brief well-chosen clips from the film, described by interviewer Robert Morgan as being highly stylised with a very unique look. This video recording lasts 3 minutes and 6 seconds.
